Applications for Notary Commissions
can be obtained from the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Allegany
County. If you would like one mailed to your home, contact the Clerk's
Office at (301) 777-5922. When your application has been submitted
and approved by the Secretary of State, you will be notified to appear
before the Clerk of the Circuit Court to take the oath of office and receive
your Notary Commission. The fee is $20.00 with your application,
and then $11.00 at the time you are sworn in. For more information
