Emergency Closings or Delays: Inclement Weather Procedures

of Courthouse closings or delayed openings are accessible by dialing the main
switchboard to the Courthouse at either (410) 535-1600 or (301) 855-1243.
A voice recording will indicate whether there are any delays or closings to the
county offices, District or Circuit Courts. The recording is updated as
soon as possible after decisions regarding delays or closings are made.
Therefore, parties participating in court proceedings or wishing access to the
Courthouse should call the recording before progressing to the Courthouse.
Emergency closings or delays may also be broadcast by local radio or television
stations per other public safety policies or procedures.
