NOTARY PUBLIC COMMISSIONS
Applications for Notary Public Commissions may be obtained from either the Secretary of State’s web site or from the Clerk’s Office. If you would like an application sent to you, please contact the Clerk’s office at 410-386-2022. The application along with the Twenty Dollar ($20.00) application fee must be submitted to and approved by the Secretary of State.
Once approved you will be notified to appear in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court to take the oath of office and receive your Notary Commission. There is an Eleven Dollar ($11.00) fee (cash, personal or corporate check) that needs to be paid at the time you are sworn.
