June 2008 BAR ADMISSION CEREMONY

Bar Admission LIVE Webcast
PLEASE
NOTE: Candidates and guests should be prepared to present photo identification
upon entry into the Courts of Appeal Building.

Candidates are required
to check in not later than forty-five minutes prior to the scheduled ceremony.
Information will be mailed in approximately 10 days as to your assigned
times. Due to the number of candidates for admission, there will
be NO CHANGES made to the class assignments. If
you do not receive your information packet within two weeks,
contact the State Board of Law Examiners at (410) 260-3640
to verify clearance for admission. If you are unable to appear at
your scheduled time, you MUST IMMEDIATELY
contact the Clerk's Office at 410-260-1500. After the ceremonies on June 17, the next scheduled bar admissions will take place on Thursday, September 4, 2008.

identification, $20.00 CASH, tickets and parking fees

Murphy Courts of Appeal Building is located at 361 Rowe Boulevard, in
Annapolis, Maryland.

(I-495) to Route 50 East. Follow the signs to Annapolis. Take Exit
24 - Rowe Boulevard/Annapolis exit and bear right onto Rowe Boulevard

Take the Beltway
(I-695) to Route I-97 South at Beltway Exit 4. Follow the signs
to Annapolis. (Route I-97 merges with Route 50 East.) Take Exit
24 - Rowe Boulevard/Annapolis exit and bear right onto Rowe Boulevard
(South).... |
Go to the second light at Rowe Boulevard and Taylor
Avenue and turn right on Taylor Avenue towards the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial
Stadium. Gate #5 (Blue lot) is the entrance to Daily
Parking. The control gate will provide a parking ticket that
can be paid to the parking attendant, if booth is manned, or pay-on-foot
station (cash/credit card (Master Card/Visa)). Parking is $5. Follow the
walking path across Taylor Avenue continuing along Herbert Sachs Drive
and around the complex of State buildings. If taking the free shuttle
to the Courts of Appeal Building, please allow ample time. When exiting
upon payment of your parking fee at the pay-on-foot station, you will
have 15 minutes to exit through the parking lot gate.
There are handicap spaces along Herbert
Sachs Drive and at the lower level of the Courts of Appeal Building.
An accessible ramp is located at the lower level of the building. Infants and Very Small Children:
In consideration of others, the Court requests that infants and
very small children not be taken into the Admission Ceremony. Guest Tickets: Two
guest tickets/candidate are attached to your invitation letter.
They must be presented for admittance. Due to
