Committees on Family Law
The Department of Family Administration staffs judicial committees on family law. These committees assist the judiciary in developing POLICY. The committee also makes recommendations on pending legislation and court rules to the Maryland Judicial Conference. The Family Law Committee has four subcommittees, Child Support, Child Custody, Domestic Violence and Juvenile Law. The Department of Family Administration also staffs the Judicial Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee and the Child Support Incentive Funds Committee.
