Filing Fees: A filing fee will be due at the time you file your papers. A fee schedule is available where you can check the filing fees in your county/city. Asking for a Fee Deferment
or Waiver: If you cannot afford to pay the filing fee at the beginning
of the case, you can ask the court to permit you to pay at the end of the
case. At trial, you may ask the judge or master to order the other
side to pay some or all of the filing fee and other court costs.
If you want the court to permit you to pay later, click here for Form
DR32.

Some services ordered during the course of a family case may require the payment of a fee. These services may include, for example, mediation, co-parenting education, children's programs, and visitation services. You may need to file an additional form to request a waiver of these fees. Contact your court's family support service coordinators for additional information and/or forms. |
