Public access to records of the Attorney Grievance Commission is governed by Title 16, Chapter 900 of the Maryland Rules (“Court Access Rules”), which provides access to judicial records, including records of a special judicial unit such as the Attorney Grievance Commission and Bar Counsel. Access to judicial records of the Attorney Grievance Commission is also governed by the confidentiality rules of Maryland Rule 19-707. Most court records of public disciplinary proceedings are in the custody of the Clerk’s office of the Supreme Court of Maryland.
