ANNAPOLIS, MD (December 17, 2003) – The Maryland Judiciary’s Bail System Task Force held its first meeting today in Annapolis. Minutes from the meeting will be posted shortly on the Bail System Task Force website, http://www.courts.state.md.us/bailbond/index.html. This site also includes a list of Task Force members, the administrative order establishing the Task Force, an agenda for today’s meeting and a compilation of Maryland laws applicable to the bail system. The website will soon include the bail system report from the judiciary’s internal auditors, an e-mail form to submit testimony to the Task Force, and an agenda for the next meeting.
