Same-sex marriage case arguments scheduled for Dec. 4, 2006
(Annapolis, MD – November 14, 2006) The arguments in Conaway v. Deane are scheduled for hearing before the Court of Appeals of Maryland at 10 a.m., Monday, December 4, 2006. The arguments will be heard in the Court of Appeals courtroom in the Robert C. Murphy Courts of Appeal Building, 361 Rowe Boulevard, Annapolis.
Due to limited space, media who plan to attend should request a media pass from the Court Information Office. Media seating is limited, and will be reserved in the order requests are received. Depending on media interest, passes may be limited to one per news organization. In accordance with the guidelines (http://mdcourts.gov/communications/camerasincourtroom.html#appellate), only one broadcast camera will be permitted in the courtroom with prior approval to serve as the pool. No more than two still cameras will be permitted and must serve as pool cameras, upon request. More details will be forthcoming with press passes issued.
