(Annapolis, MD – December 11, 2007) In honor of Bill of Rights Day on December 15, the Maryland Judiciary is launching an interactive Web page to help students and citizens learn more about the first 10 amendments to the Constitution of the United States. The page can be accessed from the Judiciary’s home page, mdcourts.gov, and includes links to educational Web sites and a message from Chief Judge Robert M. Bell of the Maryland Court of Appeals.

The Bill of Rights, comprising the first 10 amendments to the Constitution, was ratified by December 15, 1791. This anniversary is observed each year throughout the United States.
