(PRINCESS ANNE, Md. — Jan. 25, 2010) Information about the operation and services of the Circuit Court for Somerset County is now available online. The new Web site includes information about how to get business and marriage licenses, how to search court records, what local services are available for families and key phone numbers, as well as links to forms, programs and services.

"The Web site will help promote transparency and openness of court proceedings as well as access to justice," said Judge Daniel M. Long, county administrative judge.

"We are pleased to offer the Web site as a service to the county," said I. Theodore Phoebus, Clerk of the Circuit Court. "More pages will be added in the near future so we encourage visitors to check periodically for updates."
