| COMMISSION ON PROFESSIONALISM
In February of 2004 the Court of Appeals announced the creation
of a Court Commission on Professionalism. The Commission studied
all facets of professional conduct and formulated methods to raise

of each of the Commission meetings as well as the Interim
Reports of the eight subcommittees that were tasked with studying
the areas of concern that had been identified by the Task Force
on Professionalism in its Report
and Recommendations of the Judicial Task Force on Professionalism,
issued in November of 2003.
After issuing the Final Report, members of the Commission set up town meetings inviting judges and practicing lawyers representing 24 jurisdictions to attend and to give comments, criticisms, and proposed changes to the Report.
