In this topic, you will review unscheduled absences.
Steps:
Click the Timesheet link.
Step 1Judiciary policy states that employees cannot have more than 6 unscheduled absences per calendar year.
Upon entering the 7th unscheduled absence within the calendar year, CONNECT will display an error message and prevent you from submitting the unscheduled leave.
Step 2Assume this employee already has 6 unscheduled absences submitted this year.
For this example, you will attempt to enter the 7th unscheduled absence.
Click the Absence tab.
Step 3Click the Vertical scrollbar to move down the page.
Step 4Click the Add Absence Event button.
Step 5Click the Choose a date button for Start Date.
Step 6Click 28 to select April 28.
Step 7Click the Absence Name drop-down list.
Step 8Click the Personal Leave Take list item.
Step 9Click the Reason drop-down list.
Step 10Click the Unscheduled list item.
Step 11Click the Details link.
Step 12Click the Calculate End Date or Duration button.
Step 13Click the OK button.
Step 14Click the Forecast button.
Step 15Click the Yes button.
Step 16Notice the message indicating you already have 6 unscheduled leaves for the year.
You will not be eligible to submit this leave as Personal Unscheduled.
Step 17Click the Home link.
Step 18Click the Sign out link.
