Enter Prior Work Experience
Steps:
Click the Main Menu button.
Step 1Click the HCM Systems menu.
Step 2Click the Self Service menu.
Step 3Click the Personal Information menu.
Step 4Click the Prior Work Experience menu.
Step 5Your earliest work experience should be entered first. As you can see, the Sequence Number is '1'.
Step 6Click in the Start Date field.
Step 7Click in the End Date field.
Step 9Click in the Employer field.
Step 11Click in the City field.
Step 13Click the MD object.
Step 16Click in the Phone field.
Step 17Click in the Ending Job Title field.
Step 19Click in the Ending Pay Rate field.
Step 21Click the Pay Frequency drop-down list.
Step 23Click the Year list item.
Step 24Click in the Description field.
Step 25Enter "Clerk I duties as assigned. " into the Description field.
You should enter a description of your duties while working in that position.
Step 26Check the Relevant Work Experience box only if the prior work experience is relevant to the position you now hold.
Step 27Click the Relevant Work Experience option.
Step 28Click the Save button.
Step 29Click the Add a new row link.
Step 30You can see the Sequence Number has changed to '2'.
Also, you can see that the Years of work experience has changed to 5. If you do not check the 'Relevant Work Experience' box, the Years of Work Experience will not count that prior work.
Step 31Click in the Start Date field.
Step 32Click in the End Date field.
Step 34Click in the City field.
Step 37Click the MD object.
Step 40Click in the Phone field.
Step 41Click in the Ending Job Title field.
Step 43Click in the Ending Pay Rate field.
Step 45Click the Pay Frequency drop-down list.
Step 47Click the Year list item.
Step 48Click in the Description field.
Step 49Enter "Clerk II duties as assigned. " into the Description field.
You should enter a description of your duties while working in that position.
Step 50Click the Relevant Work Experience option.
Step 51The Years of Work Experience has changed based on the years of experience from Sequence Number 2 (the experience from Griffin Law Offices).
Step 52Click the Home link.
Step 53We will now take a look at how the data from the Prior Work Experience page tranfers to the job application.
Step 54Click the My HR tab.
Step 55Click the Careers link.
Step 56Click the Courtroom Clerk - 1888 link.
Step 57Click the Apply button.
Step 59Click the I have read and agree to the above terms and agreements option.
Step 60Click the Next button.
Step 61Click the Apply without a resume option.
Step 62Click the Next button.
Step 63Click the Highest Education Level drop-down list.
Step 64Click the HS Graduate or Equivalent list item.
Step 65Click the Next button.
Step 66The work experience has transferred to the job application.
Notice the correct order of the work experience.
Step 67Click the Edit button.
Step 68If this position was part time, this is where you would enter this information. There is no place to indicate part time on the Prior Work Experience page.
Please note that any changes made to this page WILL NOT transfer to the Prior Work Experience page.
