In this topic, we will demonstrate forecasting and submitting a saved absence request.
Steps:
Click the My HR tab.
Step 1Click the Timesheet link.
Step 2Notice thre are two absence requests saved along with time entry.
Step 3Click the vertical scrollbar.
Step 4The two absence requests are in Saved status and the Forecast button is available.
Step 5Whe you click the Forecast button the system will check to make sure you have balance available as well as submit the request (timesheet as well).
Click the Forecast button.
Step 6Notice the message indicates Forecasting will submit the entire timehseet plus this absence request.
Click the Yes button.
Step 7Click the Yes button.
Step 8Click the OK button.
Step 9Click the OK button.
Step 10Notice all time entered as well as the absence request for 5/26 now have a Reported Status of Needs Approval.
Step 11Click the vertical scrollbar.
Step 12The second request is still in saved status and will need to be forecasted and submitted.
Step 13Click the Forecast button.
Step 14Click the Yes button.
Step 15Click the Yes button.
Step 16Click the OK button.
Step 17Click the OK button.
Step 18Notice the Reported Status is now updated to Needs Approval.
Step 19Click the vertical scrollbar.
Step 20Click the horizontal scrollbar.
Step 21You will use the Edit button and the Details link to make any changes or to cancel the requests.
Step 22Click the Home link.
Step 23Click the Sign out link.
