In this topic, you will request time off from your timesheet and forecast the balance.
Steps:
Click the My HR tab.
Step 1Click the Timesheet link.
Step 2Click the Add Absence Event button.
Step 3Double-click in the Start Date field.
Step 4To clear the field,
Press [Backspace].
Step 5Double-click in the End Date field.
Step 7To clear the field,
Press [Backspace].
Step 8Click the Absence Name drop-down list.
Step 10Click the Annual Leave Take list item.
Step 11Click the Reason drop-down list.
Step 12Click the Annual Leave list item.
Step 13Click the Details link.
Step 14Click the Calculate End Date or Duration button.
Step 15The Duration will automatically populate if the Start Date and End Date fields are completed.
For this example, the employee requested 2 days off or 16 hours.
Step 16Click the OK button.
Step 17Click the Forecast button.
Step 18Notice the message indicating you are eligible to submit this request.
Step 19Click the Submit button.
Step 20This message is alerting you to certify the reported time is accurate.
Click the OK button.
Step 21Click the OK button.
Step 22The Status for the absence request is "Needs Approval".
Step 23Click the Home link.
Step 24Click the Sign out link.
