In this topic, you will enter the details for an ADA Accommodation, submit the request, and view the approval status.
Steps:
Click the My HR tab.
Step 1Click the ADA Accommodation Request link.
Step 2Click the Add a New Value tab.
Step 3The ADA Accommodation Request page will auto populate some of the Employee or Applicant Information.
Update the details of your accommodation request, if needed.
Step 4Click in the Work Telephone field.
Step 5Click in the Request Date field.
Step 7The Request Date is the date the accommodation is required.
Enter all the information specific to the accommodation request.
Step 9Click in the Accommodation field.
Step 10"I require a ramp to access the office with my wheelchair." has been entered for you.
Step 11Click the Vertical scrollbar to move down the page.
Step 12The form will need to be saved then submitted for approval.
Click the Save button.
Step 13Click the Vertical scrollbar to move up the page.
Step 14Click the Submit button.
Step 15NOTE: The first approver will have a status of "Pending" when the form is submitted. If the form is saved and not submitted the status will show as "Not Routed".
Step 16The approval chain displays the individuals who will receive, review, and either approve or deny the request.
In this example, the request will flow from ADA Field Coordinator to ADA Officer to Administrative Official.

Click the OK button.
Step 18Click the Home link.
Step 19Click the Sign out link.
Step 20You have completed the details for an ADA Accommodation, submit the request, and view the approval status.
