In this topic, you will access the Careers page and apply for a job.
Steps:
Click the My HR tab.
Step 1Click the Careers link.
Step 2To search for jobs, you can scroll through the jobs listed in the Search Results, filter the list of job openings by applying a pre-defined filter, or by performing a keyword search.
Step 3For this example, click in the Keywords field.
Step 4Click the Search button.
Step 6Click the Judiciary Clerk II - 1248 link.
Step 7Reivew the job details.
Step 8Click the Vertical scrollbar to move down the page.
Step 9To apply for this job, click the Apply button.
Step 10Be sure to read the disclaimers.
Step 11Click the Vertical scrollbar to move down the page.
Step 12Click the Checkbox to indicate you have read and agree to the Application Terms & Agreements.
Step 13Click the Next button.
Step 14Notice the indicators at the top of the application. The current section will be highlighted so you can track your progress as you complete the application.

When applying for a job in CONNECT, be sure to enter information that is specific to your education, work experience, preferences, etc.
Step 16When applying for a job, you can attach a resume, copy and paste your resume, or apply without a resume.
Please note that if you attach or paste your resume, you still need to complete each section of the application to be considered for the position.
Step 17For this example, click the Apply without a resume checkbox.
Step 18Click the Next button.
Step 19Click the Highest Education Level drop-down list. This is a required field.
Step 20Click the Some College list item.
Step 21If you select Some College, you must enter the last date of attendance and the amount of credit hours you received in the Add Degree page.
Step 22Click the Add Degrees button.
Step 23Highlight the Date Last Attended field.
Step 24Press [Delete].

Step 34Work experience will transfer to the application if you have entered it in the Prior Work Experience page from the Employee Self Service menu. The navigation to this is Main Menu > HCM Systems > Self Service > Personal Information > Prior Work Experience.
Please note that this will not work in reverse. The work experience you enter in your application WILL NOT transfer to the Prior Work Experience page in Employee Self Service.
Step 35Click the Add Work Experience button.
Step 36Click in the Employer field.
Step 38Click in the Ending Job Title field.
Step 40Click in the Supervisor field.

Step 46The "OK to contact?" checkbox will automatically be selected.
You can uncheck this box if you do not want your supervisor to be contacted.
