Creating a New Query-Based Learner Group


Concept

In this topic, you will create a new query-based learner group.


Steps:

  1. Click in the User ID field.

     e.g.
    Enter
     "james.davis"
     into the User ID field.

  3. Click in the Password field.

     e.g.
    Enter
     "welcome1"
     into the Password field.

  5. Click the Sign In button.

  6. Click the Main Menu button.

  7. Click the Enterprise Learning menu.

  8. Click the Learner Groups menu.

  9. Click the Maintain Learner Groups menu.

  10. Click the Add Query Based Learner Group link.

  11. Click in the Description field.

     "Test Group"
     into the Description field.

  13. Click in the Short Description field.

     into the Short Description field.

  15. Click the Owner Look up button.

  16. Click in the Last Name field.

  18. Click the Look Up button.

  20. Verify that the Group Status is set to "Active".

  21. Click the Automically Maintain Membership checkbox.

  22. Click the Group tab.

  23. Click the Select a query to run drop-down list.

  24. Click the All Commissioners list item.

  25. Click the Populate Learner Group button.

  26. Notice the Group Members section is now populated with learners.

     

    Always click the Populate Learner Group button to verify the population is correct.
