Steps:
Click in the User ID field.

Step 18Click in the Description field.
Step 19Click the Approval Type drop-down list.
Step 21Click the Internal-Mgr External-None list item.
Step 22Click the Vertical Scrollbar to navigate down the page.
Step 23Verify that the Completion Type is set to "Fixed". This means the completion period will be calculated from the date the learner registers.
Step 24Click in the Completion Period field.
Step 25The Completion Period is the number of days within which the learner must acquire the certification. The system uses this value and the completion type to calculate the learner's target completion date for the
certification.
Step 26Press [Backspace].
Step 27Click in the Warning Period field.
Step 29The Warning Period is the number of days in advance of the target completion date from which you want to send an e-mail notification. This notification warns the learner to complete the certification requirements before time expires.
Step 30Press [Backspace].
Step 31Click in the Validity Period field.
Step 33The Validity Period is the number of days the certification remains valid for
the learner after the learner completes the certification.
Step 34Click in the Grace Period field.
Step 36The Grace Period is the number of days the certification remains valid after the certification expiration date. During the grace period, the certification remains active in the learner's history. The grace
period gives the learner and the Judiciary time to validate certification efforts.
Step 37Click in the Recertification Period field.
Step 39The Recertification Period is the number of days within which the learner must complete the recertification program before the certification expires. If the recertification period expires, the learner is ineligible for recertification and must complete the original certification again.
Step 40Click in the Recertification Warning Period field.
Step 42The Recertification Warning Period is the number of days before recertification expiration
to indicate when you want the system to send a reminder notification to the learner.
