Managers create Performance Improvement Plan documents for employees and then evaulate the employees based on their performance. The managers then review the document with the employee and the employee acknowledges their performance appraisal. The final approval for the performance document is given by the managers supervisor. This action completes the Performance Improvement Plan document.
