Run the Create Mass Update Process


Concept

In this topic you will go through the steps for running the create mass update process.


Steps:

  1. Click in the User ID field.

    Step 1

  2. a valid value
     e.g.
    Enter
     "patricia.tummer"
     into the User ID field.

    Step 2

  3. Click in the Password field.

    Step 3

  4. a valid value
     e.g.
    Enter
     "welcome1"
     into the Password field.

    Step 4

  5. Click the Sign In button.

    Step 5

  6. Click the Main Menu button.

    Step 6

  7. Click the Workforce Administration menu.

    Step 7

  8. Click the Collective Processes menu.

    Step 8

  9. Click the Mass Update menu.

    Step 9

  10. Click the Create Mass Updates menu.

  11. If you have already created a Run Control ID, enter that ID into the "begins with" field and click the "Search" button or click the "Search button to see all the Run Control ID's.

     

    If you have not created a Run Control ID, create one by clicking on the "Add a New Value" tab. Create a run control ID title then click the "Add" button.

  12. Click the Add a New Value tab.

  13. Click in the Run Control ID field.

     e.g.
    Enter
     "PT"
     into the Run Control ID field.

    Step 14

  15. Click the Add button.

  16. Click in the Mass Update ID field.

  17. a valid value
     e.g.
    Enter
     "LEAPYEARCHG"
     into the Mass Update ID field.

    Step 17

  18. Click the Run button.

  19. Select "PSUNX" from the "Server Name" drop down if not already selected.

     

    If already selected, click the "OK" button.

  20. Click the Server Name drop-down list.

    Step 20

  21. Click the PSUNX list item.

    Step 21

  22. Click the OK button.

  23. The system will display a Process Instance number below the Run button. Use this number to monitor your process.

  24. Click the Process Monitor link.

  25. Once on this page allow the system a few minutes to process and then click the Refresh button until the Run Status shows Success .
