Update and Approve New Position Request - Class and Salary Manager


Concept

In this topic you will go through the steps for updating and approving a new position request.


Steps:

  1. Click in the User ID field.

    Step 1
  2. a valid value
     e.g.
    Enter
     "tammy.ferguson"
     into the User ID field.

  3. Click in the Password field.

  4. a valid value
     e.g.
    Enter
     "welcome1"
     into the Password field.

  5. Click the Sign In button.

  6. Click the Main Menu button.

  7. Click the Worklist menu.

  8. Click the Worklist menu.

  9. Click the FormApproval, 2401, NEWPOS, 1900-01-01, N, 0, New Position Reques link.

  10. Click the Go to Form button.

  11. Verify the details of the request.

  12. Click the Vertical scrollbar to move down the page.

  13. Click the OK button.

  14. A New Position Request may be approved or denied.

    When denying the request, a reason is required in the comment text box.

     

    NOTE: In order to include a comment when denying the request the Deny button must be clicked first. A message will prompt to include a comment. Click the OK button and then enter the comments and click the Deny button again.

  15. Click the Approve button.
