Defining a Delivery Method Type

In this topic, you will create a new delivery method type for classes.

Steps:

1. Click in the User ID field.

   Step 1

2. a valid value
    e.g.
   Enter
    "kelly.williamson"
    into the User ID field.
   Step 2

3. Click in the Password field.

   Step 3

4. a valid value
    e.g.
   Enter
    "welcome1"
    into the Password field.
   Step 4

5. Click the Sign In button.

   Step 5

6. Click the Main Menu button.

   Step 6

7. Click the Set Up ELM menu.

   Step 7

8. Click the Catalog menu.

   Step 8

9. Click the Delivery Method Type menu.

   Step 9

10. Click the Add a New Value tab.

    Step 10

11. Delivery methods define how course offerings are presented to learners, for example, through

    instructor led training, web-based, or blended learning.

    Step 11

12. Click in the Long Name field.

    Step 12

13. a valid value
     e.g.
    Enter
     "Podcast"
     into the Long Name field.
    Step 13

14. Click in the Short Name field.

    Step 14

15. a valid value
     e.g.
    Enter
     "Pod"
     into the Short Name field.
    Step 15

16. Click in the Description field.

    Step 16

17. a valid value
     e.g.
    Enter
     "Self-Paced learning via a Podcast"
     into the Description field.
    Step 17

18. Click the Save button.

    Step 18

19. Click the Home link.

    Step 19

20. Click the Sign Out link.

    Step 20
