Copying Equipment

In this topic, you will copy equipment that has already been defined to create a new piece of equipment.

Steps:

1. Click in the User ID field.

   Step 1

2. a valid value
    e.g.
   Enter
    "kelly.williamson"
    into the User ID field.
   Step 2

3. Click in the Password field.

   Step 3

4. a valid value
    e.g.
   Enter
    "welcome1"
    into the Password field.
   Step 4

5. Click the Sign In button.

   Step 5

6. Click the Main Menu button.

   Step 6

7. Click the Enterprise Learning menu.

   Step 7

8. Click the Learning Resources menu.

   Step 8

9. Click the Equipment menu.

   Step 9

10. Click the Search button.

    Step 10

11. Click the Rm 2 HDMI Cable link.

    Step 11

12. Click the Copy Equipment button.

    Step 12

13. Click in the Number of Copies field.

    Step 13

14. a valid value
     e.g.
    Enter
     "1"
     into the Number of Copies field.
    Step 14

15. Click the Copy button.

    Step 15

16. Click the OK button.

    Step 16

17. The details and learning environment have been copied. Renaming the equipment allows you to create a new piece of equipment with the same details.

    Step 17

18. Click in the Description field.

    Step 18

19. Press [Backspace] until the description field is blank.

    Step 19

20. a valid value
     e.g.
    Enter
     "Rm 3 HDMI Cable"
     into the Description field.
    Step 20

21. Click in the Short Description field.

    Step 21

22. Press [Backspace] until the short description field is blank.

    Step 22

23. a valid value
     e.g.
    Enter
     "Rm 3 HDMI"
     into the Short Description field.
    Step 23

24. Click the OK button.

    Step 24

25. Click the Save button.

    Step 25

26. Click the Home link.

    Step 26

27. Click the Sign out link.

    Step 27

You have completed copying equipment that has already been defined to create a new piece of equipment.
