Creating a New Learning Environment

In this topic, you will create a new learning environment.

Steps:

1. Click in the User ID field.

   Step 1

2. a valid value
    e.g.
   Enter
    "james.davis"
    into the User ID field.
   Step 2

3. Click in the Password field.

   Step 3

4. a valid value
    e.g.
   Enter
    "welcome1"
    into the Password field.
   Step 4

5. Click the Sign In button.

   Step 5

6. Click the Main Menu button.

   Step 6

7. Click the Set Up ELM menu.

   Step 7

8. Click the Learning Environment menu.

   Step 8

9. Click the Add a New Value tab.

   Step 9

10. Click in the Long Name field.

    Step 10

11. a valid value
     e.g.
    Enter
     "Testing Environment"
     into the Long Name field.
    Step 11

12. Click in the Short Name field.

    Step 12

13. a valid value
     e.g.
    Enter
     "Testing"
     into the Short Name field.
    Step 13

14. Click in the Description field.

    Step 14

15. a valid value
     e.g.
    Enter
     "This is a UAT testing learning environment"
     into the Description field.
    Step 15

16. The Approval Definition ID field links the learning environment to the approval process definitions that are available for the environment.

    Step 16

17. Click the Look up Approval Definition ID button.

    Step 17

18. Click the SHARE link.

    Step 18

19. Click the Look up Learner ID button.

    Step 19

20. Click the Look Up button.

    Step 20

21. Click the PAM BROWN link.

    Step 21

22. Click the Add a new row (+) button.

    Step 22

23. Click the Look up Learner ID button.

    Step 23

24. Click the Look Up button.

    Step 24

25. Click the NENA TAYLOR link.

    Step 25

26. Click the Save button.

    Step 26

27. Click the Home link.

28. Click the Sign out link.
