In this topic, you will cancel absence requests posted on a direct report's timesheet. One absence has already been approved, another absence will be pending approval.
Steps:
Click in the User ID field.

Step 7Click the Time Management menu.
Step 8Click the Report Time menu.
Step 9Click the Timesheet menu.
Step 10Click in the Selection Criterion Value field for Last Name.
Step 11Click the Get Employees button.
Step 13Click the Duck link.
Step 14Your direct report Donald Duck is using a punch timesheet.
Step 15Click the Absence tab.
Step 16Click the Vertical scrollbar to move down the page.
Step 17Click the Edit button for the Approved absence.
Step 18Click the Cancel option.
Step 19Click the Submit button to make the change to the absence request.
Step 20To acknowledge documentation may be required,
Click the OK button.
Step 21This message is alerting you to certify the reported time is accurate.
Click the OK button.
Step 22Click the OK button.
Step 23Click the Vertical scrollbar to move down the page.
Step 24Notice the Approved absence has been removed from the Absence Events section.
Click the Edit button for the pending absence.
Step 25Click the Cancel option.
Step 26Click the Submit button to make the change to the absence request.
