Run the Rebuild-Update Catalog Index Process

In this topic, you will run the Rebuild Catalog Index process.

Steps:

1. Click in the User ID field.

   Step 1

2. a valid value
    e.g.
   Enter
    "nancy.kline"
    into the User ID field.
   Step 2

3. Click in the Password field.

   Step 3

4. a valid value
    e.g.
   Enter
    "welcome1"
    into the Password field.
   Step 4

5. Click the Sign In button.

   Step 5

6. Click the Main Menu button.

   Step 6

7. Click the Enterprise Learning menu.

   Step 7

8. Click the Catalog menu.

   Step 8

9. Click the Rebuild Indexes menu.

   Step 9

10. Click the Add a New Value tab.

    Step 10

11. Click in the Run Control ID field.

    Step 11

12. a valid value
     e.g.
    Enter
     "Index1"
     into the Run Control ID field.
    Step 12

13. Click the Add button.

    Step 13

14. Click the Look up Search Definition button.

    Step 14

15. Click the LS_LM_ACT_CI link.

    Step 15

16. Verify the Incremental Index is selected.

17. Click the Run button.

18. Click the Server Name drop-down list.

19. Click the PSUNX list item.

20. Click the OK button.

21. Click the Process Monitor link.

22. Click the Refresh button.

23. Click the Refresh button until the Run Status changes to Success.

24. Click the Home link.

25. Click the Sign out link.
