In this topic you will go through the steps of completing a position change request.
Steps:
Click in the User ID field.
Step 1Click in the Password field.
Step 3Click the Sign In button.
Step 5Click the Main Menu button.
Step 6Click the Manager Self Service menu.
Step 7Click the Position Change Request menu.
Step 8Click the Add a New Value tab.
Step 9Click the Attachments tab.
Step 10NOTE: Not all position change request require a completed Position Description Questionnaire (PDQ) form. Use the instructions tab to see details.
Step 11Download the PDQ form, complete and save to attach to request.
Step 12Once you have completed the PDQ and saved the file you will need to attach it to your position change request.

Click the Form tab.
Step 14Enter the position number or use the look up to select from a predefined list of options.
Click in the Position Number (PIN) field.
Step 15The Position Number (PIN) will auto populate the Subject and Position Attribute Changes.
Update the details of the position atribute, if needed.
Step 17Click the Type of Change drop-down list.
Step 18The type of change menu list provides all the options available for the position change.
Click the Reclassification list item.
Step 19Enter the employee ID or use the look up to search by last name or first name.
Click in the Employee ID field.
Step 20The Employee ID will auto populate the Employee Name.
Step 22Enter or click the calendar to choose the date when the position change must take effect.
Click in the Effective Date field.
Step 23Click in the Title field.
Step 25Press [Backspace].
Step 26Click the Veritcal scrollbar to move down the page.
Step 28Click the Essential Position drop-down list.
Step 29Click the No list item.
Step 30Click in the Justification field.
Step 31Click the scrollbar.
Step 33You must save the form first and then submit for approval.
Click the Save button.
Step 34Click the Vertical scrollbar to move up the page.

Click the Submit button.
Step 36The first approver will have a status of "Pending" when the form is submitted. If the form is saved and not submitted the status will show as "Not Routed".
Step 37The approval chain displays the individuals who will receive notifications, review, and either approve or deny the request.
Step 38Click the OK button.

Step 40Click the scrollbar.
