Updating Attendance and Grades on the Component(s) Roster


Concept

In this topic, you will use the check in/out link to update attendance and also update the learner attendance on the class component roster.  


Steps:

  1. Click in the User ID field.

  9. Click the Mark Grades and Attendance menu.

  14. The Check In/Out link is used by the instructor as a method for allowing learners to manually punch in and out of classes.

     

    The instructor would have this page open on a computer that the learner would go to and click either the log in or log out button. Then the learner verifies their identity by entering the last four numbers of their social security number.

  27. Clicking the Details button for the class session displays the component roster. From this page the instructor can update attendance for the class.

  30. Since the learner is being marked as "Arrived Late Excused", the instructor must enter the time that the learner arrived.
