12_21_15_Modify Employee Absence Request from Timesheet


Concept

In this topic, you will modify an employee's absence request on their behalf from their timesheet.


Steps:

  1. Click in the Main Menu field.

  2. Click the HCM Systems menu.

  3. Click the Manager Self Service menu.

  4. Click the Time Management menu.

  5. Click the Report Time menu.

  6. Click the Timesheet menu.

  7. Click in the Selection Criterion Value field for Last Name.

     e.g.
    Enter
     "Warnick"
     into the Selection Criterion Value field.

  9. Click the Get Employees button.

  10. Click the WARNICK link.

  11. Click the Choose a date button.

  12. Click "16" as the desired date.

  13. Click the Refresh Timesheet button.

  14. Notice the leave requested on the Timesheet for the week of 9/16 is also listed in the Reported Time Status section.

  15. Click the Absence tab.

  16. Click the Horizontal Scrollbar to scroll to the right of the page.

  19. Click "21" as the desired date.

  20. Click the Absence Name drop-down list.

    Click the Yes button.

  27. This message is confirming the employee has enough leave to submit the absence request.

  28. Click the Submit button to make the changes to the absence request.

  29. To acknowledge documentation may be required,

    Click the OK button.

  30. This message is alerting you to certify the reported time is accurate.

  32. After submitting the changes, the modified absence request is displayed on the Timesheet page.

     

    Click the Select option.

  36. After resubmitting and approving the modified absence request, the Status  is now Approved.
