Concept

In this topic, you will go through the steps of adding and reviewing performance notes on an employee's performance notes page.


Steps:

  1. Click the Main Menu button.

    Step 1
  2. Click the HCM Systems menu.

    Step 2
  3. Click the Manager Self Service menu.

    Step 3
  4. Click the Performance Management menu.

    Step 4
  5. Click the Maintain Performance Notes menu.

    Step 5
  6. Click in the Employee ID field.

    Step 6
  7. a valid value
     e.g.
    Enter
     "000002738"
     into the Employee ID field.

    Step 7
  8. Click the Add a New Note button.

    Step 8
  9. Managers can use the Maintain Performance Notes page to record specific notes about their employees to use when performance evaluations are completed. Employees are unable to retrieve notes that their manager has entered about them; and managers are unable to retrieve notes that their employees have entered about them.

  10. Click in the Subject field.

     e.g.
    Enter
     "Overtime"
     into the Subject field.

  12. Click in the Note Text field.

  13. Enter the desired notes.

  15. Click the Return to Performance Note Selection link.
