Steps:
Click in the Main Menu field.

Step 6Click in the Last Name field.
Step 7Click the Get Employees button.

Step 10Click the Choose a date button.
Step 11Click the Calendar Month drop-down list.
Step 12Click the August list item.
Step 13Click the desired date.
Step 14Click the Refresh Timesheet button.
Step 15Click the Absence tab.
Step 16Click the Add Absence Event button.
Step 17Click the Choose a date button.
Step 18Click "21" as the desired date.
Step 19Click the Absence Name drop-down list.
Step 20Click the Annual Leave Take list item.
Step 21Click the Reason drop-down list.
Step 22Click the Annual Leave list item.
Step 23Click the Details link.
Step 24Click the Calculate End Date or Duration button.
Step 25The End Date automatically populates the last date of the absence request based on the hours of Duration.
Step 26Click the OK button.
Step 27Click the Forecast button.
Step 28This message is confirming the employee has enough leave to submit the absence request.
Step 29Click the Submit button.
Step 30This message is alerting you to certify the reported time is accurate.
Click the OK button.
Step 31Click the OK button.
Step 32After submission, the Status of the absence request is Needs Approval.
Step 33Click the Home link.
