This topic will describe the various pagelets available on the POI Dashboard.
Steps:
Click the POI Dashboard tab.
Step 1The POI Dashboard is the centralized page for frequently used pages that affect POIs.
Step 2To customize the view of the POI Dashboard, click the Pagelet Settings drop down arrow. This is available on all pagelets.
Step 3You can select Minimize to collapse the pagelet or Remove to delete the pagelet from the POI Dashboard.
Step 4You can also customize the view of the POI Dashboard by clicking the Content link.
Step 5Uncheck the pagelets you do not want to see on the POI Dashboard. Make sure you click the Save button for the change to take effect.
Step 6To customize the layout of the POI Dashboard, click the Personalize Layout link.
Step 7The POI Dashboard is set to display 3 columns. To change the layout, select the 2 columns option. Make sure you click the Save button for the change to take effect.
Step 8To change the placement of a pagelet, click on the pagelet and use the arrows to place the pagelet in the desired column. Make sure you click the Save button for the change to take effect.
Step 9To delete a pagelet, select the pagelet and click the Delete Pagelet button. Make sure you click the Save button for the change to take effect.
Step 10Click the Close (X) button to close the window.
Let's review the pagelets.
Step 11The POI Self Service Links pagelet is used for transactions that affect an individual POI.
Step 12POIs have access to view and update their personal information.
Click the Personal Information Summary link to see a view of the Personal Information Summary page.
Step 13Use the Personal Information Summary page to view and update personal information such as:
• Address
• Phone Number
• Emergency Contacts
• Email Address
• Marital Status
• Ethnic Group
Step 14You can use navigation to return to the POI Dashboard.
Click the Main Menu button.
Step 15Click the HCM Systems menu.
Step 16Click the POI Dashboard menu.
Step 17POIs have access to submit ADA Accommodation requests.
Click the ADA Accommodation Request link.
Step 18You can submit a request by clicking the Add a New Value tab, or you can view the approval status of a previously submitted request by clicking the Search button.
Step 19To see a view of the form, click the Add a New Value tab.
Step 20The ADA Accommodation Request page will auto populate some of the fields based on the information stored in CONNECT.
Step 21Click the Main Menu button to navigate back to the POI Dashboard.
Step 22Click the HCM Systems menu.
Step 23Click the POI Dashboard menu.
Step 24The POI Quick Links pagelet gives Court Administrators quick access to forms that affect POIs.
Please note, if you are not a Court Administrator, you can minimize or remove this pagelet by clicking on the drop-down menu in the top right corner of the pagelet.
Step 25The POI Maintenance Request form allows Court Administrators to add, remove, or update POI data for all city and county paid Judiciary employees for their court. The form is used to request access to CONNECT.
Click the POI Maintenance Request link.
Step 26As a Court Administrator, you can submit a request by clicking the Add a New Value tab, or you can view the approval status of a previously submitted request by clicking the Search button.
Step 27To see a view of the form, click the Add a New Value tab.
Step 28The Court Administrator should complete and submit this form to add, remove, or update the access for POIs in their court.
Step 29Click the Main Menu button to navigate back to the POI Dashboard.
Step 30Click the HCM Systems menu.
Step 31Click the POI Dashboard menu.
Step 32The Custom Workflow Change Request form allows Court Administrators to add, remove, or update approvers from the custom workflow Matrix.
Click the Custom Workflow Change Request link.
Step 33As a Court Administrator, you can submit a request by clicking the Add a New Value tab, or you can view the approval status for a previously submitted request by clicking the Search button.
Step 34To see a view of the form, click the Add a New Value tab.
Step 35This form allows the Court Administrator to add, remove, or update the approvers in the custom workflow Matrix for their court.
Step 36Click the Main Menu button to navigate back to the POI Dashboard.
Step 37Click the HCM Systems menu.
Step 38Click the POI Dashboard menu.
Step 39The POI Delegated Entries pagelet is used to process transactions after a POI has accepted a delegation. If you have not accepted a delegation, you will not be able to access the pages from the links below.
Please note, if you have not accepted a delegation, you can minimize or remove this pagelet by clicking on the drop-down menu in the top right corner of the pagelet.
Step 40If you accepted a delegation to report time on behalf of an employee, click the Report Time link.
Step 41Select the name of the delegator,RAYFORD MAXFIELD.
Step 42Click the Continue button.
Step 43If you are entering time on behalf of an employee and you know the Employee's ID or Name, enter the information in the highlighted fields.
Step 44Click the Get Employees button to pull up a list of the delegator's direct reports.
Step 45Click the down arrow button to collapse the Employee Selection section.
Step 46Select the Last Name of the employee to enter and submit time on their timesheet.
Step 47Another way to get back to the POI Dashboard is to click the Home link.
Step 48Click the POI Dashboard tab.
Step 49If you accepted a delegation to submit an absence request on behalf of an employee, click the Request Absence link.
Step 50Click the Proxy For drop-down list to select the name of the delegator.
Step 51Select the name of the delegator,RAYFORD MAXFIELD.
Step 52Click the Refresh Employees button.
Step 53You can click the Select button for an employee that is listed to submit their absence request. If an employee is not listed, click the Plus (+) Sign to see the direct reports of that manager. For this example, click the Plus (+) Sign to see direct reports of ELISHA MCGEORGE.
Step 54Click the Select button for GEORGE MOUNTS.
Step 55On the Request Absence page, enter the details and submit the absence for approval.
Step 56Click the Home link to navigate back to the POI Dashboard.
Step 57Click the POI Dashboard tab.
Step 58If you accepted a delegation to approve timesheets, click the Approve Timesheet link.
Step 59Select the name of the delegator,RAYFORD MAXFIELD.
Step 60Click the Continue button.
Step 61If you know the Employee's ID or Name, enter the information in the Employee Selection Criteria fields. For this example, click the Get Employees button to pull up a list of the delegator's direct reports.
Step 62Click the down arrow button to collapse the Employee Selection section.
Step 63Either Select the employee and click Approve or click on the Last Name of the employee and approve from their timesheet. You also have the option to Deny or Push Back the employee's time.
Step 64Click the Home link to navigate back to the POI Dashboard.
Step 65Click the POI Dashboard tab.
Step 66If you accepted a delegation to approve absence requests, click the Approve Absence Request link.
Step 67Click the MARCOS CARDOZA link for Personal Leave Take.
Step 68On the Approve Absence Request page, approve the absence request. You also have the option to Deny or Push Back an absence request.
Step 69Click the Home link.
Step 70Click the Sign out link.
