In this topic, we will cancel an absence request from the employee's timehseet.
Steps:
Click the Main Menu button.
Step 1Click the HCM Systems menu.
Step 2Click the Manager Self Service menu.
Step 3Click the Time Management menu.
Step 4Click the Report Time menu.
Step 5Click the Timesheet menu.
Step 6Click the vertical scrollbar object.
Step 7Notice the Reported Absence icon for two employees are displayed in this summary page.
Step 8Click the REINHARDT link.
Step 9Click the vertical scrollbar object.
Step 10Much like you would cancel your own absence, you will access the Absence tab within the timehseet page to cancel the employee's absence.
Click the Absence tab.
Step 11Click the horizontal scrollbar object.
Step 12The Edit button is used for both, Cancelling an absence, or Editing the details of the existing request. Best practice is, edit the details if you need to use a different leave or update the duration. Only cancel if you are sure you will not need the request.
Click the Edit button.
Step 13Click the horizontal scrollbar object.
Step 14Click the Cancel option.
Step 15You can use the save for later or submit buttons to cancel the request.
Click the Save for Later button.
Step 16If no edits have been made to the reported time and you choose Save for Later you don't have to validate worked time.
Click the No button.
Step 17Click the vertical scrollbar object.
Step 18Notice the Status of the request has changed to Cancelled. And the absence is removed from the top section of the timesheet page.
