In this topic you will go through the steps for entering a PIN switch request to transfer an employee from current positon to another position.
Steps:
Click the Main Menu button.
Step 1Click the HCM Systems menu.
Step 2Click the Manager Self Service menu.
Step 3Click the Job and Personal Information menu.
Step 4Click the Transfer Employee menu.
Step 5On this page you will see all your direct reports. Select the employee for whom you need to change position.
Click the Select button.
Step 6Click in the Transfer Date field.
Step 7Click the Look up *Position button.
Step 9The positions listed are limited to the positions you have access to. You may scroll through the list to select, or you may simplify your search by using the search options above. For this example we will use the position number we already have to look it up.
Step 10We will Search by: Position Number.
Click in the begins with field.
Step 11Click the Look Up button.
Step 13Click the 055091 link.
Step 14Notice the New Information is populated and the changes are indicated by the gold circle next to the field.
Step 15Click the vertical scrollbar.
Step 16You may add additional information for the approvers to consider.
Click in the Comments field.
Step 17Click the Submit button.
Step 19The approver will have a status of "Pending" when the form is submitted. If the form is saved and not submitted the status will show as "Not Routed".
Step 20Click the Home link.
Step 21Click the Sign out link.
Step 22You have completed the steps for entering a PIN switch request.
