In this POI (Person of Interest) Insight topic, you will retrieve contact information using search criteria based on your manager/security roles.
Steps:
Click the Main Menu menu.
Step 1Click the HCM Systems menu.
Step 2Click the Insights menu.
Step 3Click the POI Insight menu.
Step 4The POI Insight provides information relevant to Persons of Interest for the organization. These are state paid judiciary employees.
If a specific POI's information is needed, the report can be generated by using Employee ID or Last/First Name search criteria.
If information is needed for a group of POIs, the report can be generated by selecting one or more Departments or Location.
Step 5You will need to select one or more search criteria and/or time specific criteria.

Step 6The Insights Tip Sheet gives an explanation of searching by Department vs. Location and how to use the Look Up when searching the fields with magnifying glasses.
Click the Insight Tip Sheet scrollbar to view all of the information.
Step 7Click the Close (X) button to exit the Insight Tip Sheet.
Step 8Click the Status drop-down list.
Step 9Click the Active list item.
Step 10For this example, you will view POIs in CC Montgomery County.
Click the Look up Location button.
Step 11The Look Up Location will display a list of Locations.
Step 12If you do not know the Location Code, click the Search by drop-down list.
Step 13Click the Description list item.
Step 14CONNECT supports the (%) percent sign as a wildcard feature when searching for data in character fields. The (%) percent sign matches one or more characters.
Click in the Description field.
Step 15Since the department is CC Montgomery County, you can enter a few characters in the search.
Click the Look Up button.
Step 17The (%) percent wildcard search returned 4 results, all including Montgomery in the Description.
Click the CC Montgomery County link.
Step 18The Location selected will display here.
Step 19The Search button is to view the results based on the search criteria.
The Clear button is to delete the search criteria.
The Export button is to download the search results into an Excel spreadsheet.
Step 20Click the Search button to view the results based on the search criteria.
Step 21The results displayed below show 8 POIs in CC Montgomery County.
Step 22For this UPK, business phone numbers and email addresses were not entered. POIs will have access to enter/update their personal information including business phone number and email address.
Step 23For this example, you will search for multiple departments in CC Montgomery County.
Click the Look up Department button.
Step 24Click the 1015030 link for CC 15 - Problem Solving Courts.
Step 25The first Department selected will display here.
Now you will add another Department.
Step 26Click the Look up Department button.
Step 27Click the 1015123 link for CC 15 - Judicial.
Step 28Both Departments selected will appear here.
Step 29Click the Search button to view the results based on the search criteria.
Step 30Notice the results were filtered down to the 2 departments selected in CC Montgomery County. The results displayed below show 3 POIs in CC Montgomery County Problem Solving Courts and Judicial.
Step 31Click the Clear button to delete the previous search criteria.
