Concept

In this topic, you will view the Learning Dashboard from a Manager's perspective.


Steps:

  1. Click the Learning Dashboard tab.

  2. The Learning Dashboard is separate from the Manager Dashboard and the Time and Labor Dashboard and focuses exclusively on learning activities across the Judiciary.

    Step 2

  3. As a Manager, your dashboard provides you with features for managing your direct reports' learning and self service features for managing your personal learning.

    Step 3

  4. Your To Do List contains a list of items that require your attention. This list might include items such as:

      • Pending approvals

      • Unfulfilled learning requests

      • Today’s learning events

      • Expiring certifications

      • Learning objectives not met

      • Learning plan items not complete

  5. In most cases, you can click the link of a list item to view additional details.

  6. Click the 3 Pending Approval Requests link.

  7. In this example, you can approve the learning requests submitted by your direct reports.

  8. Note: Once you leave the Learning Dashboard, the other dashboard tabs are no longer available. To get back to the Learning Dashboard, click the Home Link.

  10. Click the Learning Dashboard tab.

  11. Any learning specific announcements delivered by the Judiciary Education would appear in the Announcements section.

  12. Quick Links is an employee  function and will take you directly into the function that you click.

  13. Click the Find Learning link.

  14. Notice you are now on the Find Learning page.

  17. The Pending Approvals section displays all learning requests from your direct reports that require your approval.

  18. Click the Being Calm and Clear -- Mindfulness in Work and Play link.

  19. You can view, approve, or deny this learning request.

  20. Click the Return to Previous Page link.

  21. The Team Learning section shows the status of each learning activity for your direct reports.

  22. You can filter this display by using the View and Name drop-down lists.

  23. Click the Vertical scrollbar to move down the page.

  24. The Manager Quick Links section allows you to take action for your direct reports. You can:

     • View your team members

     • View certifications for your team members

     • View competencies for your team members

     • View learning plans for your team members

     • Search for learning to enroll your team members

  25. The "Search for Learning" field allows you to search the learning catalog for courses in which you can enroll.

  26. The My Current Learning section displays your personal learning activities and the associated status.

  27. The learning calendar displays all learning events in which you are scheduled.

     

    Note: This calendar is not integrated with Microsoft Outlook or any other calendar application. Only CONNECT learning activities are displayed on this calendar.
