In this topic, you will review the Time and Labor Dashboard.
Steps:
Click the Time And Labor Dashboard tab.
Step 1The Time and Labor Dashboard is separate from the Manager Dashboard allowing Managers to view schedule deviations and act on overtime requests, absence requests, and reported time approvals.
Step 2When an employee submits an overtime request, leave request, or timesheet, their direct manager will be notified of the approval request via email and the Time and Labor Dashboard.
Note: If the direct manager is unable to approve a request, the manager's manager will have access through their Time and Labor Dashboard to approve on behalf of the first manager.
Once a request has been acted upon, the request is removed from both managers' dashboards eliminating the possibility that 2 people can take action on the same request.
Step 3Overtime Requests, Absence Requests, and Unscheduled Personal Absences are displayed on the left side of the page.
Step 4Reported time approvals and schedule deviations are displayed on the right side of the page. (Pagelets may be moved and display of this page varies by user).
Step 5Notice each section gives you the option to approve, deny, or pushback directly from the dashboard.
It is recommended however, that you click the employee's name for the desired request to view the request details, then approve, deny, or pushback.
Note: Employees’ time and absence records will appear on the Time and Labor dashboard for up to 28 days following the employee’s departure from the organization. This allows the Manager and the payroll team time to complete any necessary adjustments.
Step 6When you are logged in to CONNECT, your position number is automatically populated in the 'Reports To Position Number' field.
This number filters the employees displayed on the dashboard to your direct reports.
If you clear this field and click 'Search', you will see your direct and indirect reports.
Step 7The Selection Criteria fields allow you to enter additional criteria to further filter the approval requests displayed on the dashboard.

CONNECT requires the employee to change every field that contains pushed back data before they can resubmit the timesheet. If only one correction needs to be made by pushing back, you do not want your employee to have to change their entire timesheet.
