NOTICE: The District Court for Montgomery County in Rockville will be closed from 7am Saturday, April 6th until 7am Sunday, April 7th. The Commissioner’s Office will also be closed at this location during the stated times. Commissioners will be available at the Central Processing Unit located at 1307 Seven Locks Road, Rockville, MD 20854 to assist the public during the closure. 

Welcome to the District Court of Maryland for Montgomery County located in Rockville, MD.

The District Court hears landlord/tenant cases, replevin actions, traffic violations, criminal cases classified as misdemeanors and certain felonies, and civil cases in the amount of $30,000 or less. The District Court does not conduct jury trials.

The courthouse is located at 191 East Jefferson Street, Rockville, MD 20850-2630. No food or drink are permitted in this building. For assistance with special needs, contact the court immediately.

General 
From I-270 take Exit 5, Falls Road, onto Maryland Ave. Go 4 lights to end, make left on E. Jefferson. Court is on right. The new location, effective August 1st, is across East Jefferson Street opposite the former Rockville courthouse location.
