Attorneys who are appointed as guardians of minors or disabled persons with whom they have no prior relationship must watch the following video on ethical considerations for attorney-guardians. This is in addition to meeting the court-appointed guardian orientation and training program requirements. The orientation and training requirements do not apply to public guardians or guardianships that terminate parental rights.
After you watch the entire video, complete a Certificate of Completion – Guardian Orientation and Training Program (CC-GN-031). File it with the court that appointed you as guardian.
