This topic will show you how to view your direct reports' Manager Dashboard.
Steps:
Click in the Main Menu field.
Step 1Click in the HCM Systems field.
Step 2Click in the Manager Self Service field.
Step 3Click the View Other Manager Dashboards menu.
Step 4The purpose of this dashboard is to give upper level managers the ability to see their subordinate supervisors/managers dashboards.
Pagelets include:
Manager's Vacant Positions
Manager's Expiring License
Employment Related Expiration Dates
Manager's Pending Approvals
Manager's Employees with 400+ hours of FMLA taken
Step 5Click the Look up Manager's Dashboard button.
Step 6A list of direct reports that are managers will display. For this example, select CEDRIC.STUTZ.
Step 7The pagelets will refresh with data from the dashboard of the selected manager.
Step 8The Manager's Vacant Positions pagelet displays the current vacant positions under the Manager selected.
The pagelet displays:
- Position number (PIN)
- Job title
- Job classification (Full/Part-time, Regular/Contractual/Temporary)
- Number of employees necessary to fill that PIN (Max Head Cnt)
Step 9The Manager's Expiring License pagelet will display the licenses and certifications expiring within 60 days for the direct reports under the Manager selected.
The Employment Related Expiration Dates pagelet will display probationary period end dates, expiring contracts, and acting capacity end dates for the direct reports of the Manager selected.
Step 10The Manager's Pending Approvals pagelet displays a list of pending approvals requiring the selected Manager's attention.
The pending approvals include:
- Performance documents
- User profile additions
- Job openings
- Job offers
- Online form approvals (i.e. Position requests, Separation, Transfer, Disciplinary Action, Accident, etc.)
Step 11The Manager's Employee with 400 hrs FMLA Taken pagelet displays a list of employees that have taken over 400 hours of FMLA not to exceed the maximum of 480 hours.
The FMLA Usage values between 440 and 459 will be highlighted in yellow.
The FMLA Usage values over 460 will be highlighted in red.
Step 12To view another manager's dashboard, click the Look up Manager's Dashboard button.
Step 13You would select the name of the manager whose dashboard you wanted to view.
For this example, click the Cancel button.
Step 14Click the Home link.
Step 15Click the Sign out link.
