The Circuit Court for Howard County Family Law Assistance Program and Civil Law Center will reopen by appointment only beginning July 27, 2020. Please click following link for detailed information.

Morning Sessions:

The Civil Law Center is open on the first three Tuesdays of each month from 9 am - 12 pm. No appointment is necessary. The Civil Law Center is located in the Law Library in the Circuit Court. An attorney will provide free legal assistance in civil non-domestic matters to walk-in visitors. Some areas of the law that are civil include landlord/tenant, contracts, small claims, advance medical directives, expunging records and homeowner association disputes. Evening Sessions:

The Civil Law Center offers evening sessions on the first Tuesday evening of each month from 6:00pm – 8:00pm. Evening sessions are held at the East Columbia Branch public library at 6600 Cradlerock Way, Columbia 21045.
