Circuit Court for Montgomery County celebrates 30th adult drug court graduation
The Montgomery County Circuit Court Adult Drug Court will hold a virtual graduation on Wednesday, May 19, 2021. This event will recognize seven graduate’s successful completion of adult drug court, a rigorous, court-supervised alternative sentencing program.
The Montgomery County Circuit Court Adult Drug Court is a voluntary adult treatment program for offenders suffering from drug and alcohol dependence. Successful completion of the program includes, but is not limited to, completion of 180 continuous days of sobriety, community service, and approval from drug court judges. Adult drug court staff work in collaboration with prosecutors, defense attorneys, health department officials, community organizations, and law enforcement agencies to guide participants into making healthier lifestyle choices. There have been 337 graduates since the Montgomery County Drug Court program began in 2004.
