Maryland Court of Appeals Chief Judge Mary Ellen Barbera hosted seven Prince George’s County students who visited the Court of Appeals as a part of the Law Links student internship program. The visit was arranged by Judge Sheila R. Tillerson Adams, Administrative Judge for the Circuit Court for Prince George’s County and the Seventh Judicial Circuit (Calvert, Charles, Prince George’s, and St. Mary’s counties), who chairs the Prince George’s County Bar Association’s Law Links Committee. The Law Links program provides students from the county's public school system access to summer employment opportunities at law firms and law-related agencies through a seven-week internship program. Chief Judge Barbera discussed Maryland’s judicial system and fielded students’ questions during the July 27 visit.
