Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)

The District Court of Maryland's Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Office provides mediation and settlement conferences for civil cases on the scheduled day of trial (in select court locations) or before the scheduled trial date, pretrial (in most counties and Baltimore City).

Mediation is voluntary, confidential and free when provided through a District Court ADR day of trial or pretrial program.
