St. Mary's County District Court

Welcome to the District Court of Maryland for St. Mary's County located in Leonardtown, MD.

The District Court hears landlord/tenant cases, replevin actions, traffic violations, criminal cases classified as misdemeanors and certain felonies, and civil cases in the amount of $30,000 or less. The District Court does not conduct jury trials.

From Route 5 south, turn left onto Rt. 245. From Route 5 north, turn right onto Rt. 245. Turn right on Baldridge St, about .5 miles. Court located in Carter State Office Building, behind Governmental Center.
