The mission of Technology Education is to provide learning opportunities that elevate and support all Judiciary members and employees in the use of key technologies. Our training focuses on interactive delivery, practical application, and experiential learning to build essential job skills and respond to changing business needs. As a result, our workforce is more proficient in supporting the Judiciary's mission to provide fair, efficient, and effective justice for all.
Technology Education provides training and follow-up support for all Judiciary stakeholders who use custom/proprietary computer applications or commercial-off-the-shelf software and associated hardware. Training is provided on-site at courthouses and administrative locations throughout the state and at the Maryland Judicial Center (MJC) in Annapolis. Technology Education partners with other divisions and departments within the Administrative Office of the Courts as well as local court jurisdictions to ensure that technology education is always available and is provided seamlessly during times of technology transitions.
