Final fee waiver requests can be requested at the start of your court case on form CC-DC-089. The court will decide on your request at the end of your case. If you did not request a final fee waiver at the start of your case and want to file it at the end of your case, use form CC-DC-090.
If you can’t afford to pay filing fees, you may ask the court to waive those costs. This video is an overview of that two-step process: (1) waiving pre-payment fees before your case can begin, and (2) waiving final fees at the end of your case.
