How can I find out what cases are to be heard at the Court House the next day?

Dockets are posted each weekday afternoon between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., and list the cases to be heard in the Howard County Circuit Court during the following court day. Please see Dockets.

How do I request a postponement of my hearing?

For information regarding charges, costs, and fees, please refer to the Circuit Court Fee Schedule established under Courts and Judicial Proceedings Article, Section 7-202.

The Clerk’s Office only accepts cash, checks, money orders, or credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, or Discover). Business credit cards must have the user’s name imprinted on it or it cannot be accepted.

Maryland Judiciary Case Search

You can now search cases from Circuit Court and District Court online. The search is available on the Maryland Judiciary website. The records maintained by the Office of the Clerk of Court are available to the public for review. However, the records of juvenile or adoption cases may be restricted.
